Aim

  • To ensure that staff are dressed appropriately for working with children.

  • To ensure that staff look professional and have a neat and tidy appearance.

  • To ensure that staff clothing meets standards for WH&S and Sun Protection Policies.

Guidelines

Tops - In accordance with the Sun Protection Policy we encourage that staff wear tops with collars and sleeves.

Skirts - Skirts must be an appropriate length e.g., below the knee.

Pants - Jeans and tailored pants only. Leggings may be worn (preferably black leggings) provided they are made of a thick material and do not go see through when bending. A longer style top is to be worn if leggings are being worn.

Shorts - Only tailored dress shorts of an appropriate length e.g., just above the knee. No casual/sports shorts.

Shoes - Closed toe, flat shoes with a non-slip grip must be worn at all times in accordance with our WH&S Policy. Please ensure that shoes look clean and tidy, no inappropriate footwear i.e., thongs, dirty joggers. UGG BOOTS ARE NOT TO BE WORN AT ANY TIME.

Sun Protection

Hats - Hats must be worn whilst outdoors in accordance with our WH&S and Sun Protection policies.

Singlets - No spaghetti straps, must be wide strap singlet with jacket to cover shoulders when outside.

Please remember to ensure that your clothing is clean, neat, and tidy when you are coming to work. We are professionals and should be dressed accordingly.
