Confirming your child's enrolment in Centrelink.

After you enrol your child with one of our centres, you must confirm the enrolment in your Centrelink account before CCS starts being paid. Without confirmation, you'll be charged the full fee.

Why this step matters

When you enrol a child with us, we create an enrolment record with Services Australia. This record sits as a draft until you log in to your Centrelink online account and confirm it.

How to confirm your enrolment

  1. Log in to myGov
  2. Go to your Centrelink online account
  3. Select Payments and ClaimsManage paymentsEnrolments
  4. Find the enrolment for your child at our centre and click Confirm
  5. Review the details (centre name, child name, days of care, fees) and confirm

It takes a few minutes. Once confirmed, the CCS payment is generally backdated to the start of the enrolment, so you don't lose the subsidy for the first week or two.

Services Australia uses your declared income and activity to set your CCS percentage. If your circumstances change, your subsidy can change too.
